...You said the 'punk' aspects of a Clockwork Orange you dislike the most. But you admit the punk aspects are there.

Who could argue?  Of course they're punks, in the original meaning of the word.

As far as shaved heads. At the time, on Long Island, Twisted Sister and Motley Crue were the big deal.
Not to many shaved head among the locals. And everyone heard the music we listened to. The neighbors for sure. Black Flag was not big with anyone  on the outside . It was very isolating, and somehow empowering.

That was your world.  It did not define THEE world.  I saw plenty of Punks with shaved heads save a spiked mohawk...pins in their faces and usually angry.  I was in lots of rough neighborhoods in NJ and NY.  In the end, if it isn't crime and anarchy, it's just fashion.

SLC Punk?

Kristi has been banned from watching this. I haven't seen it myself, but I have met the devil worshipper (a guy called Russ who was performing at a comedy theatre that Kristi used to work at before she came over to the UK).

Will do. Russ had told Kristi she wasn't allowed to watch it because it was awful. I've always been tempted to give it a look.
