If you could only have one of these- which would it be?
I would choose books.

We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.

Well, with the internet, you have access to the other four....
Even books...
I think the last time I actually read something, was when there were competing movies of War Of The Worlds, I decided to download the novel off Project Gutenberg.....

^ You never read HG Wells WAR OF THE WORLDS? Even as a child?  :buggedout:

I'm with Cerebus. Although I prefer to read a book, if I have internet access then I can get the other things.

I read the version I downloaded from Project Gutenberg, yeah, but when I was a kid, I was always reading about big foot & flying saucers, trying to tackle The Lord Of The Rings trilogy....
When I got older, I started reading books about movies....

Man, I must be a square. I have hundreds of books . As a child, we had 3 channels on TV. No internet. No phone. I don't have sex now as it is. But books ...I'm somewhat of a bibliophile.

As much as I love books... I can't see giving up sex forever. I'd have to make do.
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

In order:

Books: What I love more than anything non-human.
Internet: Useful, and plus brings books.
Sex: Has its attractions but doubt it has anything new left in it.
TV: Could give it up, but rather not.
Phone: Except as a delivery system for books and internet, fuggit.

I'm surprised you left off music.

The main reason I did not respond is because I must have music.

Then let's put music under books and before internet on my list.

Music was never disqualified.

It's a poll you created.  YOU "disqualified" it.   :twirl:
