AND NOW THIS PLACE IS DYING. that really sucks. but it happens when members allow it to become a one horse platform. i'll fight it until it becomes too obvious that that is what y'all want instead of the diversely insane place this used to be back on 2007....

No one person is to blame.  It is an abandoned website, and just a matter of time.

Maybe it isn't as much fun as it used to be but there's a core of interesting and devoted people who still make it worth coming here. It's remarkable a place like this has survived for so long when the landscape of the internet has changed so much. I think part of the reason is it has been useful and unique. When it finally does go away, as everything will in time, it's going to leave a hole in many lives, and a lot of information is going to be lost.

November 2005 it says on mine, but I applied way before that.... I was still using AOL at the time, & there was a glitch in my registration....
Andrew cleared it up just after he got back from Iraq & had written the review for  http://www.badmovies.org/movies/sinbad7th/ in April 2005.....
I think everybody had their registration dates push back after Andrew made some upgrades to the site.....

November 2005 on the forum for me, so a bit over 17 years.  That's over a third.

I might note, "coming here" meaning badmovies.org is definitely over half.  I'm not sure when exactly, but I think I was in high school, so more than 20 years ago.  My two reader reviews I think are more than 20 years old too, and are some of the oldest things from me still on the internet.  That would mean I've been coming here for MORE than half my life.  Wow.
