In between his bands Husker Du and Sugar, Bob Mould put out 2 solo albums. I don't rate them as high as what either of his bands did but they're still pretty good imo

I don't hear any Queen or death metal influence, more country rock. Reviewer said it reminded him of Sticky Fingers-era Stones. But I have only listened to it once all the way through.
