I have a Christian movie called EXORCISM, on a two-fer DVD release with GHOULIES 4 on the other side... I mean, what's going on there? did they flip a coin?

The EXORCIST (1973) can be seen as a religious film.  Father Karras regained his belief in God; saved the girl from Satan.  The Power of Faith.
Unlike stuff like BEYOND THE DOOR (1974) -as much as I love that film- God is just a plot device for pea-soup puking, head spinning, shocks.
The EXORCIST had heart.
Supernatural?...perhaps. Baloney?...Perhaps not!" Bela Lugosi-the BLACK CAT (1934)
Interviewer-"Does Dracula ever end for you?
Lugosi-"No. Dracula-never ends."

And was banned in South Africa for more than two decades.
