yeah Ive got 'Frollick In The Park' by Death angel on vinyl somewhere, good shout

Death Angel also have 2 new albums out. One the put out in 2005 called The Art Of Dying  and one from closer to 2010, called Killing Season.  They've actually gotten harder in their sound, and both albums were very well recieved by the music media.  Not bad for a group that hadn't had an album since 1990.

Youtube has a few of their never songs, like Dethroned and Buried Alive.

HAHA!  Almost forgot about that album from Pat Boone!  That actually had some good arrangements on it!  And from what I remember reading, Boone said he actually found Ronnie James Dio to be very personable when they worked together. Nice to see that they got along, the results can be heard in the album. A good fun time!

And I call myself a NWOBHM fan....that's one that got away :buggedout:

Yes, Diamond Head was a big influence on Metallica as well as one of the leaders of the pack, like Raven, Saxon and The Tygers Of Pan Tang, to name a few.

I'm surprised they got overlooked.  Quite a good band, least in my mind.  I also like Tygers of Pan Tang.

True!  We should have our Headbanging licenses revoked.

Udo Dirkschneider was a very unlikely entry into the scene..he just didn't look the part, but man could he do it!  "Balls To The Wall"!

I sure as hell remember Trouble. They kick SERIOUS ASS! Speaking of doomier bands, how about The Obsessed, or Paradise Lost, St. Vitus, etc...?
