Bill Olsen of Code Red DVD has passed away (November 2022)

Just noticed there wasn't a thread.

Bill had health issues the last couple of years though the cause of death is not known.

He was quite the character and known for being difficult on message boards.

Code Red paved the way for modern boutique labels releasing forgotten gems and movies other labels wouldn't touch with a ten feet pole.

He was friends with the late Steve Carver who was an acquaintance of mine and I believe Bill had kidney issues, sadly.

Yeah, I just read something about his kidney issues. So sad.

I've forgotten about Steve Carver though. He made some fun bad movies, and a few good ones.
