Oy! "Delighted"? There's at least one deal-breaker on each list for me!

I guess I could nap through PROM NIGHT and List A will be good otherwise.

I think A edges it there...

think I might be alone here in actually liking PROM NIGHT

C for me. A lot of B horrors that I've never seen for one reason or another 🤔

Dam this is so much better than 2. First name I see is Leviathan - what HAPPENED, Hollywood?!!!

A and C are so close. Depends on the day and time of day, but right now I'd go with C.

I'm gonna revisit PROM NIGHT tonight and see if I've changed my opinion... not exactly ages since I last saw it tho, maybe 2 / 3 yrs

edit - couldn't be bothered in the end... that bodes well haha...

finally rewatched PROM NIGHT last night... yes the movie takes its sweet time getting around, but it does its thing. not a classic by any stretch but it has that early 80s slasher ambiance which I love, so maybe I'm biased... I can see why anyone not hardcore into that subgenre may find it a bit meh.

^ wish I could remember the young actress' name. She was interviewed last year in a YouTube video discussing slasher/horror movies. She said Prom Night has everything a slasher needs, and is one of the best of its kind

I do enjoy Prom Night, but it has its share of flaws and cheese that didn't age well and come off as unintentionally funny.

Prom Night is too bad to be good, but too good to be so-bad-so-good. I'd rate Prom Night 2/5 (Fair) - an elevated bad movie with a few worthy moments.

yeah I'd say that's fair... also most of my fav slashers from that era have a kind of 'crazy' off-the-wall element that PROM NIGHT doesn't have. it's a bit too 'normal' in that respect
