Thank you. More or less I am. I believe he was my oldest living uncle before today. He had a hard life. Vietnam really messed him up mentally but the VA was reallly able to help him. Otherwise he led such good life. First there was all of us in his family who helped support him. And then there were all his various interests. Such as the CB radio/HAM radio/computers/outdoors/electronics/and Vietnam Vets assocation. He was such a big influence on my life and interests. I think he had so much of an influence of an interest in my life which I owe a fornicate load of thanks for.
In a bit of a LOL moment I mentioned to his eldest daughter who I've been really close too since I was born that a law school classmate who lives in the Twin Cities and I had been seeing off and on these past few years that I had been planning a date between now and Christmas. Once I realized that I had to go running back to my cousin and asking her to
please not tell my mom about that potential future daughter in law yet. My cousin said her lips are sealed but if she already said anything to her mom my entire family will know within the next month or so about this potential future Mrs. Sprite.
My condolences on your loss. It's hard to let family go.
Sorry to hear! Hope you can stay happy however possible and get through this.

He was a Vietnam veteran too? My respect for his service and sacrifice.
