I guess hockey just isn't as popular as it used to be.  Especially with Brits.   :bouncegiggle:

Yeah cups over here are usually that way round, plus we have zero hockey coverage in this country even though there is a league. Silly Joe  :lookingup:

Fear not, hockey in the states is covered on the "Versus" network around my area.  The network also known for stuff like tractor pulling and bass fishing shows.  Hence I think even soccer in the States may becoming more popular than hockey.   :buggedout:  I watch AHL hockey live from time to time which is usually a good time. 

As for Joe Elliot, I think its funny how enthusiastic he is about holding the cup but still manages to put it upside down.  :bouncegiggle:

I think that Channel 5 show ice hockey live during the night when the season is on. I seem to recall that it used to be a staple of Grandstand and Scotsport programming during the Eighties and Nineties.
