Well, on the 50 Movie Pack: Chiller Classics they have BAD TASTE (1987) (http://imdb.com/title/tt0092610/) directed by Peter Jackson. Having saw half of this early in my badmovies.org messageboard days I decided to show this one to my daughter since I now own a copy and she is a big Peter Jackson fan after the LORD OF THE RINGS films. She said the movie was "fun" and seemed to enjoy all of the wackiness.
Didn't like it to much early in my movie marathon days and only watched half of it because of what I thought to be a non-atmospheric film. Now that I've seen the ending it's a much better film than I thought it could have been when I saw it about 6 years ago. If your looking for a fun film then this is it. Now I have to show her DEAD ALIVE.

Braindead [or Dead Alive as you know it] is a fantastic film and one which must be picked up immediatley. Definitely my favourite Peter Jackson film, and one of my favourite Zombie films ever.
That being said, Bad Taste is also good. I have an unofficial biography on Jackson which details some of the crap he went through making it, and it's nice to know it was so well accepted in NZ when it finally got released, especially considering what an effort it was.
Good movie for a friday night. Great that your daughter enjoyed it too: it's good that you are passing that knowledge onto the youth [without scarring them too much] in order to keep the b-movie tradition alive and well.
I love Bad Taste. I rented it years ago and couldn't believe what a fun movie it was. Great choice for a Friday night movie.
Yes show her "Dead Alive"
I command thee!
I love Bad Taste, it's by far one of my favorite horror comedies. It's a toss up for me which one is better, Dead Alive or Bad Taste. I've probably seen both about 20-30 times....
y'know, "bad taste" is the only peter jackson film i can stand. the rest were just outright ruined for me by my friends who referenced them constantly. "dead alive" is okay, but "meet the feebles" is just a horrible movie.
"I'm a Derek and Dereks don't run."
"Climb a tree then."
