Title: Suddenly (1954)
Post by: Scott on January 31, 2006, 11:26:36 PM
SUDDENLY (1954) (http://imdb.com/title/tt0047542/) - Frank Sinatra stars along with Sterling Hayden in this movie about Presidential assasination. Sinatra's later film THE MANCHURIAN CANIDATE (1962) on the same subject was different in that it didn't have the brainwashing element to it. What is it about Sinatra and this subject matter? How many films cover this subject and why Sinatra in both before the JFK assasination. Very strange. Also SUDDENLY has a real good 50's feel to it that I think you will like. Very good film in my opinion. Bought it for $1on DVD.

Probably the most notable thing about this film, besides how good it is, is who one of the actors is. The assassain who goes into town and gets shot. Anybody recognize him? Maybe you recognized the voice. That was voice actor Paul Frees.
