Title: Leonard Nimoy sings Bilbo Baggins
Post by: Scottie on February 12, 2006, 05:50:26 PM
For those Hobbit fans out there, and for those who are fans of Leonard Nimoy's work, here is a piece of music film that might have slipped by you:

Give it a while to load if you're connections are slow, because it's worth every second. I nominate this to be the worst of all 70's music films ever made. Like it was done by a friend of Leonard's whose skill at film parallels Hercules in New York. Watch again for repeat hilarity.

Actually, it is from one of his musical LPs of the 60's. First time I heard it was on Dr. Demento, back to back with "Laughing Gnome" by David Bowie.

Yes, but Scottie is truly evil. A veritable minion of Sauron, to inflict this evil upon us.  I haven't laughed that hard in eons....

A co-worker has a 33 RPM copy of a VISTA radio show from the late 60's. One side is Shattner talking about his LP "Transformation Man" and his childhood. The other side is Nimoy talking about his Lp and childhood. Nimoy mentions his two favorite singers are Eddy Arnold and Bob Dylan.
