And here I thought it was a serious thread... :-P
What a fun list of games based on movies. I thoguht "The Ring" was especially nice.
I want to try "The Thing" video game sometime.
Oh man, this was HYSTERICAL. Although the "Schindler's List" game was in somewhat poor taste... :)

Anything funny to do with Schindler's List is always going to be in bad taste.
Man, I used to love those LCD games when I was a kid. I wish my parents kept them [we may still have a few broken ones lying around] A particular favourite was a Mario and Luigi game in which you had to race to put bricks on a truck to be delivered, without too many falling off and breaking.
Speaking of bad taste, I found the "Passion of the Christ" LD game very funny. I mean, is there any other "action" scene in that movie that could be converted into a game?
And those feeling like revisiting old hand held machines may find this other link interesting:

Believe it or not I still have the Dungeons and Dragons LCD game in great condition that still works. Thank god my mom saved it!! (Insert nerd joke here!! LOL!!) Anyone remember Merlin, the red colored handheld game that had numerous games on it? I saw it at an KB OUTLET for sale for $2.99!! Man I feel old!!
Man I used to love these old LCD games. I had heaps of the Tiger Electronics ones when I was a kid. If I'm not mistaken, they are still in my parent's attic and are all in working condition. I remember having:
Castlevania
NASCAR
Strider
Electronic Baseball
Bowling
Wrestling
I know that I had quite a few others, I just can't remember what they were. I have these games to thank for me becoming the geeky uber-gamer that I am today. And I'm sure that I made duracell an industry leader considering how many AAs I went through as a kid.
I used to have Ghostbusters in LCD as well as a Mario game. Oh daveblackeye15 I had the Thing game for PS2 a while back. Worth a rent if you can still find it.
