Another question for the B-Fest veterans (although the previous two weren't answered): How many days in advance do you normally buy your tickets? The box office has not forthcoming with any information on whether they can be ordered by phone as soon as they go on sale. Do most people buy theirs at the door, or is there a rush to get them ahead of time? Does the event usually sell out, or are there always tickets left?

As far as I know, the advance tickets are only sold on premises at the Norris Center box office. For further info, check http://www.b-fest.com.
I imagine most of the off-campus people buy their tickets at the door. You end up paying an extra $5, but hey, it's for a good cause.
And bring T-Shirt money.
So, if I get into town on the 23rd, and go straight to the box office, I should have no trouble getting tickets?
People often filter in and out of B-Fest during its 24-hour run, though not in the early morning hours when the doors are locked. No idea on the total attendance, but at most I've seen the large theater about half full.
If you're visiting please drop by and say hello. I always prefer to greet people in person and our group is usually right in front of the stage, on the left as you look to the screen.
What other questions have gone unanswered? I'll do my best to answer or get you answers for them.

I think I found your other two questions. One about a good place to sleep and the other about how many people stay through the whole fest.
Ken Begg's site has some good quick pointers about the fest here:
http://www.jabootu.com/events.aspAs for the early morning nap: just bring a sleeping bag. Numerous people catch naps during the wee hours, when the movies are sluggish. In fact, the organizers usually put something dreadfully slow on to help you out.
Per Jabootu, B-Fest takes place at the Norris University Center on the campus of Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. Finding a Days Inn or other accommodation nearby shouldn't be too hard via their website (most chains have a locator).
No idea how many of us stay the full 24 hours, but I'd say around 200 if I had to guess.

Thanks a lot.
