Remember the latest Project Greenlight?
They had chosen John Gulager (son of Clu Gulager) to direct.FEAST (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0426459/).
It's a horror film about several people trapped in a bar at night. They are menaced by some really nasty monsters and must fight to survive.

I finally found the trailer HERE (http://www.revver.com/video/6521/?__session_just_started__=1)
This looks pretty damn good!
And it looks kind of bad at the same time...I mean that in a good way. :)
You must have Quicktime to watch the trailer.
What do you think?
Has anybody heard when this is going to be released?
I've not seen the trailer yet, but Feast is one of my most anticipated films this year. I know it won't show in my area, and I'll have to wait until it comes out on DVD but oh well. Last season was my first season of watching Project Greenlight, and I found it to be amazing. I can't wait to see the final product.
Hopefully it is not all flashing action. I just watched "The Cave" last night and, along with the idiot parasite plot twist, I got sick and tired of things happening so fast you could not get a good look at the beasties.
Heh, Clu from "Uninvited" with the poisonous mutant cat monster. Cool, in a bad movie way.
From what I read at Wikipedia, this film is caught up in the divorce between Weinstein brothers and Miramax. The Weinstein company now owns it and have shown no interest in releasing it.
This could probably mean that it might get released on DVD at some indeterminate point in the future.
According to this: http://www.upcominghorrormovies.com/movies/feast.php
The film ISN'T going to be released, which goes along with what Trek was saying. A little bit of an update from the lil' tug o'war "between the Weinsteins and studio backers at Disney". A shame, really. I was looking forward to this.
Actually, this looks a lot like the movie THE SUCKLING (see my recent post), except it takes place in a bar instead of a brothel/illegal abortion clinic.
"Monsters"?
What do you mean by that?
Exactly WHAT attacks the people at the bar?
Are they mutants, werewolves, vampires, zombies, demons or what?
Or are they generic monsters, ala "Monsters, Inc."?
