A decent low-budget movie about an aborted fetus that gets flushed down a toilet, becomes exposed to toxic waste, and emerges as a monster. The creature puts a slimey covering (placenta or something) over the windows and doors of the illegal abortion clinic / bordello where he was aborted. Then he attacks the people who are trapped inside.
I read that this movie was made by film students. If this is true, then it is definitely an ambitious and well-executed effort.
I would have liked it better if they kept the creature in the dark (or if they had built a better creature). When you see the monster in a well-lit room, it is obviously an actor in a foam latex monster suit. The monster looks sort of like a lobster-man with a big skeleton head and long, thin, sharp fangs. It's more laughable than it is scary.
The movie includes the usual decapitations, shootings, arguments among the victims as they try to escape, close-ups of saliva dripping from the monster's fangs (similar to ALIEN), and bizarre humor.
The widescreen DVD is currently available. I bought it for under $5.00.
I had trouble believing what happened when the monster met its mother again at the end. I had to rewind it four or five times.
