I vaguely remember seeing a movie about 15 years ago where people were being chased through the wilderness by ninjas. I believe they were hunting them for sport. In one scene the ninjas are firing arrows at the people while they cross a rope bridge. Another scene involves an old village filled with crazed freaks. I thought it might be Escape 2000, but I just watched that and its not. Its been a while so I may be wrong about the ninjas. Any help would be appreciated. I have been thinking about this one for a while.
The other movie is about a giant sea turtle like creature. In one scene a man shows how he plans to kill it by firing a large harpoon into a metal barrel. Unfortunately that is all I remember.
The first one sounds kinda like Gymkata (1985) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0089243/ , a movie where they take a former gymnast & try to make it look like he knows karate, and they throw in an attractive Asian girl in hopes that the the stereotype will make people think she knows how to handle all those fancy knives.
The other one sounds like The Bermuda Depths (1978) (TV) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0077223/ , in which a young man returns to his childhood home in Bermuda to find the sea monster that killed his father years before. While searching, he encounters his childhood sweetheart, whom he later finds out share's a diabolical link with the giant turtle and his father's death.
