Benicio Del Toro is signed up to do a remake of The Wolfman (http://www.darkhorizons.com/news06/060315h.php).
A remake is of The Dirty Dozen (http://www.darkhorizons.com/news06/060313n.php) is in the works. Notice also in the article they mention a remake of Let's Get Harry.
Fangoria (http://www.fangoria.com/) is reporting on Lance Henriksen returning (as a ghost) in Pumpkinhead 3 & 4 (http://www.fangoria.com/news_article.php?id=5720).
The news section of Fangoria has lots of news on upcoming horror projects, including what Albert Pyun is up to.
Actually, I think Benicio Del Toro would make a good wolfman. I'm interested in this one.
How about this cast for THE DIRTY DOZEN:
* Sylvester Stallone in the Lee Marvin role
And as for the 12 prisoners:
* Leonardo DiCaprio
* Martin Lawrence
* Ben Affleck
* Matt Damon
* 50 Cent
* William Baldwin
* Steven Baldwin
* Snoop Dog
* P. Diddy
* Freddie Prinze, Jr.
* Matthew Perry
* Ashton Kutcher
And directed by Aaron Norris
AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

Oh...you are a twisted individual...
Apparently they are also going to do movie versions of Welcom Back, Kotter and Dallas.
I think I'm going to be very sick. Very sick indeed.
Yeah raj, with Ice Cube as Kotter.

A certain irony to that is that John Travolta is supposedly going to play the role of J.R. in Dallas, while somebody else plays Vinnie in Welcome Back, Kotter. Of course, it would be funny if Travolta was cast in the role of Vice Principal in the Welcome Back, Kotter movie.
I Read That JLo'll Play "Sue Ellen"in the Big Screen Version Of "Dallas"!!!Originally,Tommy Lee Jones Was Gonna Play J.R. and Catherine Zeta Jones Douglas Was Gonna Play Sue Ellen!!Now Tommy Lee Jones,I Could See As JR Since He Has A Ranch Outside of San Antonio.Plus,He Was Born In San Saba,Texas;Which Is About 100 or so Miles Northwest of Austin.CZJD,Well,I Think She Would Make A Great Long Cool Woman In A Black Dress(Just A 5'9""Beautiful Doll!!)And Maybe A Good Sue Ellen Ewing.Can't Really Say.But If Wer'e Going To Cast JLO as Sue Ellen,Why Not Cast "Desperate Housewives"Stars Eva Longoria As Pamela Ewing(She's From Corpus Christi.)and Marcia Cross As Sue Ellen Instead??Hell,Let's Get Tyra Banks To Play Sue Ellen As Long As Wer'e Gonna Cast JLo!!My Cast For "Dallas":JR-Tommy Lee Jones;Bobby-Luke Wilson*(*Actually,I Think He's Already Cast For It.);Jock Ewing-Gene Hackman or Regis Philbin;Miss Ellie-Carol Burnett*(*She's From San Antonio.);Pam-Eva Longoria;Sue Ellen-Either Terri Hatcher or Marcia Cross.*(*Hey!!Why Not Get A Desperate Housewive to Play The Original Two Desperate Housewives!!));Lucy Ewing-Jessica or Ashlee Simpson.Ray Krebs-Matthew McConaughey or Owen Wilson. As Far As The "Dirty Dozen"Remake Goes,Either George Clooney;Nicholas Cage or Bruce Willis Could Do Lee Marvin's Role.As Far As The Other Twelve Go,I'll Think About It and Come Back Manana!!
If they do a welcome back Kotter movie then it has to start off like this.
And keep note that I'm not a huge fan nor a guy that doesn't like it, it was on Nick a Nite for a little big when I was young. I liked it but this is the part that remember the best.
Kotter has to tell a joke to his wife before the film credits.
Maybe this time those jokes will be funny. {roll opening credits}
Pa dum pump.
I don't think his wife ever laughed at them either.
But I can image that there's a good chance the new jokes will make the old jokes look witty.
Hmm!!Ice Cube As Gabe Kotter??Just Doesn't Have The same ring To It!!I Used To Watch "Welcome Back Kotter"Back In The 70's And Attending A Small Town High School In South Central Texas,I Always Wanted To Have A Cool Teacher LIke Mister Kotter.That,And I Wanted To Get In Rosalie"Hotsy"Totsy's Pants as Well!!However,That's A Whole Completely Different Category!!How The Mighty Have Fallen:Gabe Kaplan Does An Occasional TV Appearance To Let People Know "Yes,I'm Still Alive!!":The Marcia,Marcia,Marcia*(*I Know It Wasn't Marcia Wallace of "Bob Newhart Show"/'Mrs.Krabapple'of"The Simpsons"Fame.And It Wasn't Marcia Cross of "DEsperate Housewives"Either.I Just Remember Her First Name Was Marcia.Help Me Out Here People!!);Rom Pallilo*(*Horshack)Makes An Occasional Voice Over on The Simpsons and/or King of the Hill.);Lawrence Hilton Jacobs Went On To Become A Movie Producer/Director.Ron Hegyes Wass On "Cagney&Lacey"Back In The Late 80's,Since Then,Who Knows?Of Course,John Travolta Is Going To Play JR in "Dallas".That,And He's A Celebrity Scientologist.Not as Annoying As Tom Cruise,But A Disciple of L.Ron Humbug Nonetheless!!
I always thought those Welcome Back Kotter jokes were supposed to be not funny.
Why is it that I wanted his wife so bad back then? Oh well...
No, I don't think the jokes were really supposed to be funny.
Here again we have a movie of an old TV show that someone decided they need to replace people with black actors (mind you, I am NOT racist or prejudiced...I hate everyone equally...including myself). Kotter was not a black man, why will he be in this movie? Ralph Kramden and friends were not black yet when they made the Honeymooners as a movie, the entire cast had to be black...why is that? Was that supposed to make it funnier? Am I missing something here?
Kotter was Jewish.
My wife and I once saw a play that was a female version of The Odd Couple. Thought it WAS a funny play (but no funnier than if they had been men), I remember wondering at the time "so what's the point of making them ladies."
I think it may be some kind of counter-culture PC thumb-at-the-nose "statement."

Theater is different that way. I've even seen a few operas
on tv with female altos in male roles.
I Remember In '97 There Was Talk About A Remake of "Cassablanca"With Sean Penn and Julia Roberts.Luckily,Whoever Thought Up That Bit Of Lunacy Shoulda Had The VIPS At Warner Brothers Immediately Demote Him To Translating Forty Year Old Episodes of "Quick McGraw"Into Serbo-Croatian or Urdu or Some Other Hard To Translate Language!!!
1-Didn't Hammer Films already do a remake of "The Wolf Man"?
2-All remakes suck.
