I'm so hooked on Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page) it ain't funny.
I spend hours on it...often with at least 5-15 seperate windows open on topics I'm interested in learning about.
I'll click on link after link opening up new windows to read.
Most times I'll read them all, but I've had a few hardcore benders where I spent 3+ hours on it and didn't get to finish them all.
I'm also a self proclaimed edit whore.
If I find a typo or s**tty grammar, I must change it!
I must be doing something right because I have an extensive watchlist and almost none of my recent changes have been altered by another Wiki member. (a few have)
I do the same here on this forum.
I'll read what I just wrote and either notice a typo or another way the sentence could be cleaned up or written and change it.
No one here more than odinn knows how much I like to edit s**t. LOL!
Anyway, I occasionally run across odd articles.
I FOUND THIS ONE (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lighting_farts)
How 'bout you?
Have you found any really odd articles on Wikipedia?
Warning - Not for the easily offended:

I routinely edit my posts, sometimes days afterward if I happen to look at it again and there are spelling mistakes.
I 've known guys that lit their farts. My Mom told me funny story once about a guy who sat on top of an oil lamp and farted which made the lamp globe explode. Methane is not to taken lightly.

OK, that was pretty freaking weird. What people do is their business, but to have a Wikipedia article about it is just weird in a way.
I really dig Wikipedia. Sometimes I wonder about their factuality, but its always a great diversion and a cool power to the people kind of movement too. People writing stuff about what interests them, no matter how um, obscure. Democracy in action.

And here is the best Wikipedia article, about an exciting new holiday:
(possibly NSFW)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steak_and_Blowjob_Day
I'm also hooked on Wikipedia, and since I'm a control freak, it could be addictive to do much there, so I mostly read stuff. I also started two entries on old videogames, "North & South" and "Pacific Strike", and I feel quite proud that not only they are still there but also some people have improved them.
Steak & Blowjob Day...
Hilarious!
HOW ABOUT THIS ONE? (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Festivus)
Oh no...It gets worse!
GROSS! (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dirty_Sanchez_%28sex%29)
It occurs to me tha the card market for steak and blowjob day is rather limited. Hallmark needs to get on the case

Ash, that last one is truly disgusting. I guess it takes all kinds, but I can't see how anyone can get turned on by that.
THIS ONE COULD BE PAINFUL (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wedgies)
Er.. I'm confused...
Article says, "Another man, whilst having an operation carried out upon his genitalia, broke wind and ignited the surgical spirit"
Surgical spirit?? The hell is a surgical spirit? Was he getting an operation from a witch doctor or something?
Sounds like the witch doctors where I live.
