Title: Best Slasher/Killer/Monster Spokesman
Post by: Ash on March 30, 2006, 11:45:11 AM
Many of you might remember the soft drink called Slice
(http://img74.imageshack.us/img74/5035/slice28softdrink292ld.jpg) (http://imageshack.us)

I read a news story once that said Freddy Krueger was very close to becoming the spokesman for Slice soda but it never happened.

Slice...finger knives...get it...slice?
Lol!  :)

Anyway, imagine the possibilities of sick killers promoting some of the newer products these days!
It doesn't have to be human either.

Imagine the creature from THE KINDRED (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0091343/) as a spokesmonster for Similac or Enfamil.
Or the SPACE HERPE (http://www.badmovies.org/othermovies/icepirates/index.html) promoting VALTREX (http://www.valtrex.com/living/sexual_health.html)?

Can you come up with some more?

Neat idea.

How about swamp thing promoting the adopt a highway program.  You could have a stretch of highway with all sorts of trash on it, then cut to the swamp thing with a single glycerin tear rollin down his mossy face.

The penguins from "Madagascar" doing an assault on the Microsoft headquarters as part of a Linux commercial would be pretty funny.

In the realm of true b-movies and consumerism, go for the hungry beast from "Terrorvision" in a commercial for RCA televisions with parental controls.
