Many of you might remember the soft drink called Slice

I read a news story once that said Freddy Krueger was very close to becoming the spokesman for Slice soda but it never happened.

Slice...finger knives...get it...slice?
Lol! :)
Anyway, imagine the possibilities of sick killers promoting some of the newer products these days!
It doesn't have to be human either.
Imagine the creature from THE KINDRED (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0091343/) as a spokesmonster for Similac or Enfamil.
Or the SPACE HERPE (http://www.badmovies.org/othermovies/icepirates/index.html) promoting VALTREX (http://www.valtrex.com/living/sexual_health.html)?
Can you come up with some more?
Seth Brundlefly for Off!, or Stridex or Clearasil.
The It's Alive brood for Huggies
Triffids for FTD Florists
Norman Bates for Holiday Inn
Robocop for Everready batteries
Sorry, that was more than 2
On the good side,
Ash promoting Troy-Bilt chainsaws.
Critters for Pet's Smart.
Godzilla for home insurance.
The Creature From The Black Lagoon for Mrs. Paul or H. Salt Fish and Chips.
Audrey II for Miracle Grow plant food.
The Thing (Fantastic Four) for Ex Lax. "You think you have a tough time on the john?"

Micheal Myers Babysitters R' Us "For some reason we have a high turnover rate, but don't let that get you down! eat all you want, invite boys, friends...whatever. Virgins not welcome"
I like the Norman Bates idea...haha!
Neat idea.
How about swamp thing promoting the adopt a highway program. You could have a stretch of highway with all sorts of trash on it, then cut to the swamp thing with a single glycerin tear rollin down his mossy face.
The penguins from "Madagascar" doing an assault on the Microsoft headquarters as part of a Linux commercial would be pretty funny.
In the realm of true b-movies and consumerism, go for the hungry beast from "Terrorvision" in a commercial for RCA televisions with parental controls.
These write themselves:
Norman Bates for Mother's Day Greeting Cards/FTD Florists(Could share with the Triffids)
Chris Lee for Belle Bonfils Blood Bank
Humanoids From The Deep for any and all swimming pool products/cleaners.
peter crane/denny johnson
-Freddy Krueger for insomnia pills
-The Killer Tomatoes for a vegetable company
-Andrew (sort of a B-movie character) for a US Marine Corps commercial
-Michael Myers for Halloween masks
-Jaws for fish products
-Chucky for My Buddy dolls
-a NOTLD zombie for a cemetary
-The Blob for jello
Hmm, A special 'Pinhead' brand Pin cushion would be especially nice:
This

Combined with this:
Tunneler (from the Puppetmaster series) for Roto Router.
-Catherine Tramell (from "Basic Instinct") for a strip club
-Sil (from "Species") for an anti-AIDS campaign
-a Triffid for a gardening service
-Cujo for the local pound
-The Gremlins for a pet shop
-The Leprechaun for an Ireland tourism campaign
-Captain Spaulding (from "House of 1000 Corpses") for Kentucky Fried Chicken
I can only think of two off-hand, but . . .
King Kong for Tourister Luggage
Lady Sylvia Marsh (Amanda Donohoe) for the Boy Scouts of America.

You must know the backstory about the writer/director. Scary stuff.

Sweeny Todd for Vidal Sassoon - "Before Vidal Sassoon became the star stylist of Carnaby Street, this guy was England's most famous hair dresser."
Carrie White for Kotex - "The girls won't make fun of you if you use Kotex."
How about the rabbits from "Night of the Lepus" for a brand of carrots?
