Megaforce
Space Raiders
Message from Space
Gymkata
The Nude Bomb
and
KISS Meets the Phantom of the Theme Park (or whatever it is called)..
There's probably DIY bootleg copies of these movies on dvd available, but I want the real thing.
Add to this:
The Green Slime
Cast a Deadly Spell
The Resurrected
World Without End
Damnation Alley
Space Mutiny
R.O.T.O.R.
I do have the MST3K version of Space Mutiny on DVD, though I haven't watched it yet so I couldn't tell you how it was.
Damnation Alley- YESSSS! I forgot to add that movie.
I wish "Village of the Giants" were on DVD in my country...
Hercules Returns
Perils of Gwendoline in the Land of the Yik Yak.
Attack of the 60 Foot Centerfold (I can't get it in my country).
Green Slime and The Giant Claw.
WTF??
I guess everyone must be quite certain "Green Slime" isn't available on DVD -- but for some reason I seem to recall having seen it -- perhaps a bootleg?
It is a Japanese flick -- Everyone quite sure it's not available as a Japanese import?
If Andrew says it's not available, then I guess not . . . but why do I imagine I've seen it?
peter johnson/denny crane
And why isn't Flash Gordon (1980 edition) on DVD? I stupidly taped over my copy.
Re Flash Gordon - it is on DVD.
It's available really cheaply in most stores - at least here in Australia ;-)

Yup, a local CD/DVD chain has been playing it constantly in their DVD section lately!
Yes, it was released on DVD, but is now out of print and much sought after. I have the DVD, which is what I used to do the review and also had my wife mail to me in Iraq so I could show the Marines (we put up a sheet and used a data projector). That and "Breakin'" were the platoon's favorites out of all the trash I showed them.

You've also gotta love the 'save the center' sequel: Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo. With a name like that you just know it's trashy!
Burned at the Stake (1981)
I saw the theatrical version on cable back in the early eighteis.
I've got a copy on VHS that I found sometime in '92 or '93, but it's the editted for television version.
actually, i have a d.i.y. disc of the kiss flick, with really slick menus and whatnot. the video is straight from a vhs copy, though.
"message from space" is actually available from toei video japan, or there's an american language version you can snag on ebay for about $12 (before shipping) with the "buy it now" option.
Is 'Night Of The Comet' a bad movie? I just love it and it needs to be on DVD now! Wayne Crawford (one of the producers) also produced 'Valley Girl' (which he co-wrote) and 'Jake Speed' (which he starred in). Both of those movies made it to DVD, so why can't NOTC?!? Wayne - or somebody else - and not he director; I heard he got the runaround on trying to get it to DVD - needs to get this great, funny, sometimes overly cheesy movie back into print! It's show on TV at least 3 or 4 times a year, so someone has copies.
Night of the Comet is a good bad movie. I thought it was fun.
Another one that's popped into my head is Get Crazy. It was on a lot when we first got cable and actually got HBO. That's one I wish was on dvd.
