Ideas were floating in my head yesterday (I know, it's kinda rare for that to happen), and a thought came up. Besides the obvious Batman/Robin duo, I was thinking who were the best duo past or present movie and tv. Here are my picks:
TV:
Malik Yoba /Michael Delorenzo (New York Undercover)
Williams/Torres
Mark Lynn-Baker/Bronson Pinchot (Perfect Stangers)
Larry Appleton/Balki Bartokamus
Note: Pinchot did one of the best immigrant-from-a-fictional-country since Andy Kaufman was Latka.
David Hasselholf/KITT (Knight Rider)
Micheal Knight
...and a related pick:
The Duke Boys/ The General Lee (Dukes of Hazzard)
Movies:
Abbot/Costello (take your pick of movie)
Richard Pryor/Gene Wilder (Stir Crazy)
Will Smith/Martin Lawrence (Bad Boys)
Mike Lowery/Marcus Burnett
What are your picks
I know this is heading into comic territory but:
Apollo/Midnighter from the nifty super-hero comic the Authority. Out of all the openly gay superheroes, these guys kick the most ass!
Also Lone Wolf and Cub from the comic and Samurai flicks of the same name.
Richard Pryor/Gene Wilder (Stir Crazy)
I thought they were better together in "SIlver Streak"
K. and J. : Men in Black. Brisco County and Lord Bowler : Adventures of Brisco County, Jr. Indiana Jones and Dad : I. J. and the Holy Grail. Hummmmm...
Duh! Starsky and Hutch!
Jackie Chan and Yuen Biao(Wheels On Meals)
uhhhh....Who else?
Make it a trio...Chan,Biao and Hung! Now thats a three course meal!
Amen brother Flangepart!! What's wrong with me? I should have known not to forget Sammo. I will now have to ask for much forgiveness for being so dumb!
If anyone says there are three people better than the Three Stooges, they better say it in front of a shotgun in between the eyes.
Nyuk,Nyuk,Nyuk.....Ah, a wise guy, heh?.....soitenly!
