I am guessing that this is a farce news site? Having seen the consumable in question, I must say that "Body Melt" is not that far off. Well, except for it attacking the father. I cannot imagine lightly frying it up and chatting over breakfast.

Tabloid or not, we're talking Tom Cruise here. Assuming it is true, that is gross. Isn't eating the placenta akin to cannibalism?
That's exactly the way I looked at it too, Alan.
I was in the delivery room for both my kids and all I remember about the placenta is that it is gross looking and was probably as big as the kid it was attached to. The nurse also knocked the my son's off onto the floor and had to clean it up.
Cruise is out of control .

World Weekly News is hilarious!! I remember when I was a kid looking at it in line all the time at the supermarket and my mom getting all flustered and telling me not to look at things like that!

Eating his child's placenta is one of the least weird things Cruise has said/done lately. I remember seeing how to cook the placenta on a show a few years back.
Trivia note: humans and camels are the only mammals which *don't* eat the placenta.
Good for him. I don't think I'll do the same in the unlikely event I become a father.
We used to own a Boxer dog and she had a litter of pups.
I remember watching her eat the placenta and it about made me puke.
I asked my mom, "Why is she doing that!?"
She said, "Because that's what dogs do."
I had to leave the room after witnessing that.
