Freaky!

OOOOOOOWWWWWWEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Spookie!
Alright, but it's going to ruin the "magic". . .
As an example, let's take 99.
9 + 9 = 18
99 - 18 = 81.
Now let's take the next number down, 98.
9 + 8 = 17
98 - 17 = 81
Since you're always subracting one from both the original number and the sum of the two digits, they cancel each other out. The only possible answers are going to be 81, 72, 63, 54, 45, 36, 27, 18 and 9. It looks like the symbol list randomizes itself to keep you from catching on as well.
Now this (http://www.ebaumsworld.com/magic/leftbrainrightbrain.html) will drive you nuts.
How about this one..

Dude, these are ALL variations on a simple mathematical theme. If you write the equation down algebraically, you can always see that the number you guess cancels out. It's like those puzzels where you start with your phone number, multiply by your age, do this, do that, etc. It is worded to 'hide' what is 7th grade math, but it is not complicated.
Call me when they do one that requires solving multiple coupled of partial differential equations and the solution depends on a coupling constant. Then I might be impressed.
*Pointing At Ulthar*
HA HA Ulthar is a math geek.
Nice to meet someone geekier than I.

Yep. Well, science geek anyway. But I do a LOT of math, too.
But nerdy and geeky is cool, now, right? Right?
Right ulthar, right...just keep telling yourself that...
