SciFi channel is doing their usual weekend of movies both bad and downright terrible for Memorial Day. They're off to a good start today's Stomp-a-thon, as I type Godzilla vs. Gigan is on and Godzilla vs. Hedora just went off. They have three more today: Godzilla vs. Megalon, Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla and Godzilla, Mothra, and King Ghidora.
Tonight is for the aquatic creatures. They start off with mutated Snakeheads. I think Frankenfish is actually pretty good. Snakehead terror is fun to watch just to see Bruce Boxleitner trying to control his giggling from being in such a stupid movie. Jaws2, Shark Attack 3, and Alligator II round out the evening.
Saturday is disaster day and Sunday is mutant bug day and includes Skeeter, Mosquito, and Mansquito (hey at least this one features and cool looking man-in-suit monster).
GAAH... Kaiju all damn day and I CHOSE to work today when I didn't have to.

Kudos to Scifi for the Stomp-a-thon! I could watch Godzilla movies all day long and not get tired of it (I wish they'd thrown in Destroy All Monsters and some of the Heisei films as well, though...). I haven't seen Mansquito yet, so I'm curious to see if it reminds me of another man-in-a-suit monster...
