The right issues with the movie have been cleared up and a remastered version of the director's cut will go on sale in September and be available for only four months. In 2007 there will be a theatrical release of what is said to be truly Ridley Scott's final cut of the film followed by a Special Edition DVD set which apparently includes four versions of the movie; the original theatrical release, the directors cut, the expanded International theatrical cut, the Final Cut, and bonus features.

A new theatrical release!? Somebody stop the presses! If it's a big theater and they promise a 35mm print or maybe (oh please god, please) a 70mm print, I might make the trip to see it. It's like when they rereleased Alien to theaters not too long ago and I missed that. I'm not going to miss this! Hot dang! *Scottie does a jig and laughs like a leprauchan* Ahehehe!
I'm waiting for someone to release an ultimate GIGLI set containing 4 versions of the film. Hopefully, the extended version will have a running time of at least 180 minutes.
Good Lord Burgo, please tell me Scott and Dean haven't got to you too. Please let be a joke!
Mwahahahahahaha!!
Just imagine the 'Ultimate Directors Special Limited Edition Theatrical Cut' of Gigli! Something with that many words in front of it has to be pure gold!
But that being said, so we now have four versions of BladeRunner out there? Wow... That's going straight into my DVD collection when it comes out! Sounds great!
This is beyond awesome. That's all I can say.
