SCHOOL OF THE HOLY BEAST (1974) (http://imdb.com/title/tt0224077/) - Wow, this Japanese movie almost rates up there with Mexican film ALUCARDA (1978) (http://imdb.com/title/tt0075666/). Just watched it the other day as my first Netflix film in a while. The movie is about a girl trying to find out what happened to her mother in a convent by becoming a novice nun. This is a crazy film that is worth checking out. The DVD even interviews the star of the film 30 years later.

Gripping stuff. I posted about this sometime earlier. I especially liked the effect of the rosethorns with blood dripping from them.
Someone mentioned this movie on the board a week or so ago. Looks like a good one; I'll have to Netflix it.
That would have been me, as best film I've seen so far this year
