I have to say, Submarines are realy cool ships. Am i the only one who thinks the sub Protious in "Fantastic Voyage" is the Seaview's Pup? The Seaview is the best looking Submersible on film, though the Nautilus from 20.000 (ect) is a close second for cool. I also kind of liked "Down Periscope", perticulary the fact that the Capt. was treated as reasonably compitant as a sub co. What about you guys?
no i agree... especially about Down Periscope, I think the treatment of the Capt. though was not really that they thought he was compitant but more that they would rather it be him than thimselves... who knows...
How about the submarine in Thunderbirds. That's pretty cool.
The one thing that comes to mind is the episode of The Simpsons when Homer, Moe, and Barney join the Navy and Homer becomes Captain of a submarine. Man, that was a great one.
