Title: The OTS nominated for an Emmy again!
Post by: trekgeezer on July 08, 2006, 01:27:25 PM
Yes, William Shatner has once again been nominated for an Emmy for his portrayal of Denny Crane. Also, his special "How William Shatner Changed the World" has been nominated for two Emmies, "Writing for a non-fiction progamming" and "Nonfiction special".

For those who don't know the reason the title "How William Shatner Changed the World" was used, it's because Paramount wouldn't let them use Star Trek or Captain Kirk in the title.

Bow before the OTS in all his bloated and toupeed greatness you non-believers! "Denny Crane!"

I'm still waiting for Invasion Iowa to come out on DVD...possibly in a 2 disc set.
Have any of you heard anything about a release of this DVD?

I live like 45 minutes from Riverside, Iowa...birthplace of Captain Kirk and where Invasion Iowa was shot.
