Oddly enough, I think he did a good job. At least until lounge lizard Kirk arrived. There was some sort of odd dignity about it.
Are you kidding? The Lounge Lizard Shatner was the highlight of the whole piece! "I'm a Rock- IT- Man" As for good job and odd dignity. I am not so sure I agree with that. I think Shatner is a horrible actor...but I do agree that there is something "odd", and also cultish, and entrancing about him that makes you enjoy his "style" more. I think of it more on the lines that I can't look away yet at the same time my mind is saying "Am I really seeing this right now?"
When he started it was almost like Kirk making a captain's log entry. It made me chuckle.
I love the introduction. 'Interpreted' by William Shatner. It was almost like a surreal poetry reading.
