There are some movies that I watch every summer, when the sun returns here in Oregon, the hot temperture and bright sunshine just make me want to go inside and watch a good movie. ( : ) )
My list includes:
Indiana Jones Trilogy.
Star Wars OT.
Die Hard.
Godzilla Final Wars (seriously two weeks after watching this, I wanted to re-watch.)
Spider-Man 2.
Heisei Gamera Series.
The Exorcist and Blair Witch Project (at night)
Among others.
Do you guys have your own summer movie lists?
Just picked up the 14 pack of 'Outer Space' movies and Death Race 2000. I also bought X-Men, X2 Sixth Sense, Unbreakable, Terminator 3 and Last Samurai.
I will rank the love scene in Last Samurai among the best I've ever seen and I think it is unique inteh fact that the clothes are going on, not coming off. I'd say it is some of the best acting I've seen from Tom Cruise EVER. The DT sequence was incredible.
I've put my hands on a handful of Samuel Bronston's epics, "55 days at Peking", "El Cid" and "The Fall of the Roman Empire". Always wanted to see them, and their long running time make them great for spending a whole afternoon. Expect reviews soon.

It's winter at the moment, so I'll just go off in a corner and cry...
I understand your pain Dean. I have just come back from injuring myself slipping over on snow at Lake Mountain (just outside Melbourne). Bloody snow. Bloody winter. Bloody 800km drive home with a busted knee. I'll join you crying in that corner.
Hey,summer is a state of mind too,you guys! Crack open a beer, turn on a Ventures album, and shoot some darts! And as the evening dawns, stick a copy of Attack of the Giant Leeches in the ol' vhs! You'll feel lotsa better!
Logan's Run and CE3K.
