SCOOP (2006) (http://imdb.com/title/tt0457513/) - Nice little Woody Allen film about a murder mystery. Woody Allen goes back to his style of comedy that his fans like. The theater had 50 people in it and they were all over 50 except my wife and myself. No exaggeration. It was like being on another planet right there in the theater. The movie kept your interest all the way thru as you tried to figure things out. Woody Allen looks old, but he still has some good lines. Hope he makes more good films.
My first film in over a month..................
I had the option of seeing this on its premier night but went with Clerks II instead. I am an avid fan of Woody Allen and if I had the chance, I would have tried to balance out the ratio of people over 50 and people under 50 at your theater, Scott. I would have dragged my friends along to see the film, whether they liked Woody Allen or not. I'll be able to tell you if I made the right choice to see Clerks II that fateful night when I see Scoop in about a week.
Let me know what you think Scottie. It wasn't his greatest, but it was good in my opinion.
It looks like it is going to be a good movie. It has Ian Mcshane in it, he plays Al Swearingen in the HBO series "Deadwood".
