Well if this just isn't the best, craziest film I have seen in a while. I could review it and try to explain the madness and fail [which incidentally I did here (http://cheyho.blogspot.com/2006/08/lunacy.html) ] but you really must try and track this film down for yourselves.
From cult director Jan Svankmajer, comes the story of life, where the inmates seem to have taken control of the asylum. Throw in a bit of stop motion animation mixed in with live action and you have a sure-fire excellent film.
Surrealist film at it's ludicrious best. The opening speech explaining that this is a horror film, but not art, is worth the admission alone...
i tried to order on Netflix but they didn't have it. *sigh
Not sure how you'd go in tracking down a copy, since it's from the Czech Republic, but I'm sure that there's ways. If not, buy a copy [if it's even available] because it's well worth it...
