I need some help with a couple of bits of movie trivia that have always bugged me.
The first one involves The Legend of Hell House (1973).
Does anybody know the name of that statue of a demon & a woman making love? The one that supposedly comes to life? I know I've seen it in at least one other movie from the seventies, but I can't remember the movie's name. I was hoping find out the statue's name so as to add it to a "help finding a movie" post I'm working on.
The other one involves Up in Smoke (1978)
What did that bouncer at The Roxy mean when he said, "Jeez! No wonder Anita Bryant's p***ed off!"?

Wasn't this about the time Anita Bryant was all in a huff about homosexuals?

I suppoose it makes sense, or at least it does now.
Funny thing, but I distinctly recall Anita Bryant singing at my church once.
I knew who she was, because at the time, I knew her as "that lady from those orange juice commercials".
Trouble is, now I can't seem to remember any of those orange juice commercials.
Now if I could just figure out what that statue is.
A day without bashing a minority group is like a day without sunshine. I'm paraphrasing the commercial tagline, of course. She lost that gig over her rather outspoken opinion of homsexuality.
