Title: Destination Inner Space (60's)
Post by: Scott on February 03, 2002, 09:36:10 AM
Just seen DESTINATION INNER SPACE on AMC last night. I think it may have been made for TV like MARS NEEDS WOMEN. DESTINATION INNER SPACE is like a cross between CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON and that old TV series DANGER ISLAND. The monster is probably the inspiration for SIGMOND and THE SEA MONSTERS (hee hee). This is one messed up film with alot of poor models of underwater spaceship and research center. Bad acting and the dumbest scenes I have seen in a while. Its actually watchable from a very very B movie outlook. Definately worth getting a good glimpse of this film.

I think that a good B-Movie is one that is done in a serious tone, but some how it just dosn't come out that way or just plain unintentionally funny. DESTINATION INNER SPACE is just such a film (I think anyways, because I just don't see how someone can make or would want to make such a film).
