God...so many...and so many that have shown up at least once on Star Trek...favorites: exploding computers and Explosive Decompression As Very Strong Breeze, which has even graced such enjoyable movies as Aliens.

Science fiction is one whole huge cliche: If blah blah keeps happening, we'll all be robots,etc

Good...God.......how did they compile this list without their head(s) exploding! You realise, of corse, this  should be manditory reading for all screenwriters....well, all good ones........although it could cause the insecure ones a brain lock. "Wait, this idea might work! Arghgh! Its covered by rule 37! is there nothing left to write!?"
