peter johnson/denny crane
Some guy named king in the "Scanners" thread back in 2001.
There was a sub-topic called Head Trauma (http://www.badmovies.org/bbs/read.php?2,343,379#msg-379)
I searched as far back as I could and I know that I was posting here on this board well before 2001. There were exactly 100 pages of threads & posts authored by me.
I first came here in 2000...six years ago.
Damn! Has it been that long?
By the way. I only have 22 more posts to go until I reach 3000 posts!
According to the board's search feature, my first time was with Jeff Taylor.

I still don't know if he ever found it.
The first one I started myself got no replies.
http://www.badmovies.org/bbs/read.php?2,89009,89009#msg-89009
I later found it on my own. It was a UPN production called Survivor.
Sadly enough mine was to Ash in the 'Most Outrageous Type of Food You've Snuck Into a Theater ' thread.
Interestingly enough though, there is a Dean who posted a few here before I came along and hasn't been seen since. Identity theft rocks!
Peter~
According to the search your first time was with Mighty Atomic Pikachu

Ash~
I was surprised that this was my first post too. I know I kept the name loyal1 though before having to register. I don't think I came on here before July of 2004, but I thought my first post was something else since I came on here in search of something more specific.
According to the Search, mine was to Daniel Johnson in "Top 10 Horror Deaths of All Time (http://www.badmovies.org/bbs/read.php?2,53033,53067#msg-53067)" in 2003.
I first started reading BadMovies.Org in 1999, however.
The first time I posted was about J-Men Forever and Scott, Vermin Boy, and Flangepart replied.
Badmovies (http://www.badmovies.org/bbs/read.php?2,51383,51383#msg-51383)
The first post I replied to was by Flangepart and was about the death of Jack Elam.

I had been coming and reading the reviews on and off for years before I finally decided to sign up for the phorum.
I guess this post is my first. 2001. Five years watching bad movies and enjoying them. Thank you Andrew!

My very first post was about Aeon Flux movie back in 2004. Man thats when I didn't take posting seriously. Some of my old posts are bad like spelling you with "u" or Iam.

Apparently, I came in on a negative note on Will's I Hate Terminator (http://www.badmovies.org/bbs/read.php?2,54579,page=1) post (page 3). I had never actually posted on a phorum before, and this is still the only one I regularly read and post to. I usually surf the net to get away from dealing with people, but the people here eventually won me over. *sniff* [Derf wipes a tear from his eye and fades back into his anonymity]
Mine was to a C. Hill, and the topic was "Does Porno Count as B-Movies"
http://www.badmovies.org/bbs/read.php?2,13355,13365#msg-13365
Now why was a porn topic my first posting?
I first posted here in 2003 asking about a Roger Corman movie that I had seen as a kid and Apostic helped me out with the title. "Not of this World" I then went to Ebay and got a copy that I paid $15 for. I used to post here under just "Ellie" but when I came back after a long while I couldnt find my password book so I just registered again.
I've been visiting this message board since 1999/2000. There was an older board before Andrew updated the phorum, so all those posts are lost to the antiquity of time. Hence, I have no idea what my first post was.
I originally started visiting this site because Andrew had video in his reviews, which was relatively uncommon at the time. Later I discovered the message board and have been posting ever since. The people here are movie maniacs, and refreshingly free of the pretentiousness that the title usually implies.
Besides, what other group of people is going to discuss Jean-Luc Godard and Herschell Gordon Lewis in the space of a single sentence?
After checking the search, there was a post in 2001 by a guy named Ed on the subject of Damnation Alley. But I don't remember making it at all, and its not my style of writing. Nor does the ISP look like anything I had. But it could be me, I suppose. My memory is not what it used to be.
The guaranteed earliest post I'll put my hand up to was in 2004 in response to a post by Ash (the "We Love tha moon Quiznos commercial). However I had been squatting for a long long time before joining the party and had read all the reviews starting in 2000. I'm a wallflower at heart.

WTF?
You did a post about "J-Men Forever" and I never noticed??
Anyone out there don't' know The Firesign Theatre be my GODS!!?
(mindless profanity)
never mind . . .
peter j.
Mine was 3/24/2004...in response to a poll. I think my first real post was to Brother Ragnarok in response to Dawn of the Dead. The Remake. I read this for a long long time before that.
Thankyou loyal --
Dear Lord, I have been posting on this Site now for 5 years, and have not been aware of it.--
I ask that you bless my posts, Lord, and that misinformation will never flow from my keyboard & that Goodness & Mercy only shall proceed.
How Flime doest Tie!~!
peter crane/denny who?
Mine was on February 14, 2003 in a thread called "Let's make a bad movie (part 1)." My screen name was "Joe" at that time, but I actually mentioned "The Burgomaster" in my message. The full text of my first message appears below:
Well, I'm not sure about the story, but I think the movie should have the following cheesy elements:
* A mad scientist with a beautiful daughter whose face has been scarred by acid
* A former colleage of the mad scientist, who tries to steal the mad scientist's secret formula
* A deformed assistant, who hopes that the mad scientist can help him become "normal" someday
* A fat man known as "The Burgomaster"
* A local tavern where the proprietor's wife whispers to all the customers about "strange goings-on at the castle"
* A young, dashing hero who comes into town on a stagecoach during a thunderstorm
* A local priest, who questions his faith, becomes evil for awhile, then has a change of heart and sacrifices himself at the end to save the day
* A wise old vampire hunter with a slavic accent
I was lookin'at the cool little video clips, and noticed ''message board''.mspg46 asked a question about hillbillys and child brides.I never seen the movie, but I remember a tv show, where Sarah Bernhardt was the host, and they usta play clips of old cheezy flicks.Does any one remember this show? I believe it was associated with Something Weird video company.
It seems that the earliest searchable post was when Andrew changed the message board on 2/14/2001 and the earliest people responding that post that are still here were Peter Johnson, Mofo Rising, and Flangepart.
Andrew do you know the date of your early board?
I remember my early post where about Ed Wood films and Corman films. Along with anything that I remembered from the 70's monster movies.
