The first film, I've seen in the movie theatres since moving to California and the only one I can recall that I've seen where I was the only one in the theatre. Not that it was a bad film, quite on the contrary, sure the Boken Lizards comedy group are no Monty Python or Three Stooges, but then again they don't really try to be. An enjoyable film to go see for plenty of cheap laughs.
Bet this would be great on the cinema and drafthouse/brew and view circuit, or would it encourage audiences to drink too much and make trouble or tear up the theater?
Just think of how many copies this will sell for the DVD release for the inevitable drinking game home viewings
I really liked this movie, but I really like Broken Lizard, too. It was funny as hell, and that's all I cared about!
Speaking of drinking games, I need to get this off my chest. I first heard this a few days ago and it blew my mind. Check this out. It's the Passion of the Christ drinking game. It's only to be played on Easter and every time Jesus gets whipped, you drink. Wow. The one guy who talked about played it and said it's the most sure-fire way to get wasted. That's hardcore.
