Or Modular Disc Wing Urban Cruise Ammunition, as the Pentagon knows them. If  Gene Simmons had had these, Tom Selleck wouldn't have stood a chance.

Scott,
In that MIT robot video, I thought it was two guys in some sort of odd costume.
I thought it was one of those joke videos at first.

It does give a certain 'two men in a horse suit' impression, especially when it is dancing sideways.

That is a real robot. I'm sure that there is much wilder stuff out there that we don't even know about. MIT might even be behind on this one. Think about future devices.....they probably don't even need legs, but it looks like a step towards a android which might potentially look and act like us one day.

Read the Alvin Toffler (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alvin_Toffler) (author of Future Shock) book WAR AND ANTI-WAR: Making Sense of Todays Global Chaos printed in 1993 where goverment officials tell him what they are working on and getting feed back from Toffler. What I'm thinking is that this is what this branch of goverment told him. Who knows what other things are being done back then and now.
