Post by: RCMerchant on December 16, 2006, 05:17:12 AM
I was viting a great website called CREEPY CLASSICS,which specialize inselling all sots of goodies-everything from books, old monster mags AND movies-and they have in stock The AZTEC MUMMY COLLECTION! Featuring ATTACK of the AZTEC MUMMY,ATTACK of theMAYAN MUMMY, and the ROBOT vs the AZTEC MUMMY! WOW! It's a upcoming release...you can pre-order through the site.
they also got in a Mexican movie called 100 CRIES of TERROR w/ Basil Rathbone (1964)! I'm unfamiliar with this rarity-but the picture from the film with the creepy ghoul they got posted looks interesting.
I,personally, was drooling over a new hardcover bookby Gary Don Rhodes and Richard Sheffield called Bela Lugosi-Dreams and Nightmares!

You just reminded me about this one.  I had run across it on Amazon or some other site while browsing DVDs.  The set is inexpensive too, but it looks to be a Brentwood release - which means the quality will take a hit.  Still, very cool to be able to obtain these three in one fell swoop.

The Robot vs. The Aztec Mummy has got to be one of the absolute worst movies I have ever tried to sit through. I've never made it all the way through in a single sitting, having instead to watch it in pieces. Still, despite that, I plan on buying this set. :teddyr:

One of the funny things about bad movie lovers, we will go out and purchase a movie that is plain awful.  Bizarre, to say the least.

THE ROBOT VS THE AZTEC MUMMY is hard to sit through, but the title, the robot, mummy, and that insane scream from the mad scientist makes it worth sitting through. Speaking of sitting....at the beginning of the film there are a few people sitting around a large living room talking about something I can't remember what the conversation was, but it lasted forever. This is how the movie starts.

Looking forward to seeing this collection because I haven't seen the others yet.
