Title: RIP Joseph Barbera
Post by: trekgeezer on December 19, 2006, 04:01:31 PM
Yes, the Barbera of Hanna-Barbera is gone at age 95. These are the guys that brought us Huckleberry Hound, Yogi Bear, Quickdraw McGraw, Jonny Quest, Scooby-doo, The Smurfs, The Flintstones, The Jetson, Tom and Jerry,  and on and on.

This is the end of an era.

Check out the obit at the NYTimes (http://www.nytimes.com/2006/12/19/arts/19barbera.html?em&ex=1166677200&en=654999ac1eb79e31&ei=5087%0A).
