Title: Slaughter High
Post by: clockworkcanary on December 22, 2006, 02:16:04 PM
I love VHS sales - found yet another video rental place selling old VHS and found a few golden ones, two of which are ripe for review and one that's more serious (Kubrick's Barry Lyndon).

The first one I discovered was Deadly Friend, which I have yet to watch (or at least, since I first saw it 15 years ago).  The other, Slaughter High, a terrible yet funny-as-hell cliche horror film set in high school on April Fool's Day no less.  Standard formula but with creative (note: unlikely) deaths.

Needless to say, after another viewing or two, I just may have to review this one in the reader reviews!

Barry Lyndon is one of my favourite Kubrick films. I was surprised how good it was, when i first saw it. I especially love the main characters attitude.

A friend of mine recently bought a bag full of VHS tapes, from a junkie on the street, that just needed some money really quick. There was some weird stuff in that bag, that i'm looking forward to seeing!
