has anyone ever seen 'From Hell It Came'? I think it was in the early fifties, about a tree that came to life and threw women in a swamp. Quality!
i havent, but im intrested. is it worth a gander?
yes yes yes! The chickens in the opening scene still perplex me!
FROM HELL IT CAME has been high on my list for a long time. Monster trees ! ! ! Would love to find a copy someday.
Welcome to the forum Coltheball.
Ah, the sheer terror of a killer tree stump. I haven't seen this in forever and never watched the entire movie anyway. Would like to see the whole thing, though I believe doing so would require no small amount of Jack Daniels. Ken has a review of it here:

That's my all time favorite Jabootu review!
In case anyone ever encounters Tabonga, here is how you can survive the ordeal:

This is another movie that NEEDS a good DVD release.
Ah the joys of Saturday afternoon matinees. I haven't thought about this piece of cinematic artistry in years and yet here I read one review and find myself acting out a scene from the movie for my wife, and laughing hysterically while doing so. Shadowfyre you are right, this masterpiece NEEDS to be out on DVD, so that we can all share in its silliness.
My favorite shot of the movie!

its funny, ive started laughing just there when the greatest hunter in all the land missed it with a spear from eleven feet away, then gets outpaced when he tries to run away! that thing is slower than molasses! hahaha
And of corse, i would be remiss, to neglect Critic Ed Naha's classicly brief movie review....
FROM HELL IT CAME!...AND TO HELL IT CAN GO!
