We have to be careful when we eat them...

Is that what caused all those 3-eyed, 3-legged, 4-armed people I saw roaming around ?
I don't even want to ask.
So the squirrels have a secret supersoldier program they are working on by exposing themselves to toxic chemicals? Poison the humans or mutate into monster critters ready for all out war, either way they broaden the conflict.
My dad used to hunt, we had squirrel off and on, squirrel stew is really good. When he was a kid, his family depended on what he brought home quite often for meat since they were poor. He knew better than to hunt near the landfills.
There's a closed Ford plant near here, polluted as hell from what I hear. There was rumor they were going to open a shipping center on the site a few years ago because it would be cheaper to modify the site for other use than to clean it up to meet environmental standards so they could sell the real estate. Nothing became of it.
Edited to fix my lousy writing.
Actually I thought the story about the man jogging nude in a public park for a year and a half, seen by many people, and the police are still unable to catch him just as strange or funny, in a weird way, as the toxic squirrels.
I also second Yaddo 42's opinion, squirrel stew is good.
OMG the Squirrel Menace meets the Toxic Avenger!
"New Jersey has warned squirrel hunters near a toxic waste dump about consuming the critters because they could be contaminated with lead."
Um, isn't that what hunters try to do, fill squirrels with lead?
