Title: For you iiTuners- Movie themes on iTunes
Post by: Ed, Ego and Superego on January 29, 2007, 11:44:54 PM
Sorry if this is the wrong board folks, but it was exciting.
I was just playing around on the iTunes "iTunes Essentials" lists and found one called Horror MOvies.  It has themes from all kinds of good stuff:
The Day the Earth Stood Still- Several Tracks
Godzilla Theme (done by Keith Emerson, but still good)
1933 King Kong Theme
something called Ghost of Frankenstein
A bunch of Twilight Zone music.
One MIllion years BC

Its also a springboard to other stuff... Universal's Callsic Scores of Mystery and Horror album for example.

JUst a bunch of fun stuff

I'm not an itunes fellow myself, since the support base isn't really that flash here and I have enough music to trawl through as it is, but I do have the Ghost of Frankenstien soundtrack around here somewhere and from what I remember it isn't too great, but isn't too bad either.

I just recently picked up a movie theme song compilation disc which has songs from King Kong ['33] to others.  It's a great disc set.
