She is healthy as a horse, cute as a bug, a natural at feeding, and has a set of lungs like an opera singer. Shes 21 inches long, 8 pounds 13.5 ounces. Mom is fine and undergoing post op, Dad is a bit weary. We will be coming home sometime tuesday.
See you soon,
-Ed (Anna and Arianna)
Congrats and that is a pretty darn big "little girl!"
Pics, we need pics.
Congratulations Ed!!!!
You're life will never be the same from this point on, and you'll realize that you've never been happier. I'll never forget when my daughter was born. I got to spend a few minutes with her after my wife's c-section, and the first thing my daughter did was reach up and grab my finger. She was the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen. Couldn't stop crying for a few minutes after.
Anyway, once again Congratulations! As Andrew said, we need pictures!
Congrats!!!!
I'm working on it, I sent Andrew a backup pic to add on my behalf if my attempts will fail. Remember I'm still board-impaired in some things. Now to start screeni Shaolin guarduans for her. Does anyone remember the Asp's number or webpage?
-Ed
I have the pic:

She even looks like a big, healthy baby.
Congratulations on the addition to the family ... as other have said your life changes forever, you are now a parent!
Congrats!!! What a sweet looking little girl, and a nice name as well.
My sister and her husband are expecting their first child (a boy) in about 6 weeks. He'll be big as well from what they say, babies in our extended family usually are. I was 9 lbs 6 ozs. My sister was 10 lbs 3 ozs. A lot of our cousins were between 8-11 lbs also.
Woohoo!!
Congrats Ed!
Though personally I'd go a different way than the Shaolin guards. Maybe make friends with a certain giant Turtle monster? Nothing scares potential dates into behaving than the threat of a giant monster destroying your house [for special use when she's older of course]
Congratulations to you and the wife, great looking little girl, as for the guardian aspect of raising a girl child, the only safe way is to forbid them to talk to or even look at boys till after you're dead.
Awww...congratulations, Ed (and Mrs. Ed). What an adorable giant-headed baby (not a knock--all babies have the Unicron head going on)...now you have about twelve years to get your "What are your intentions towards my daughter?" voice down!
Congratulations!
Whenever I see a newborn baby, I always think of that TV show V and the scene where woman gives birth and the baby sticks out its lizard tongue. :buggedout:

Congratulations!!
42 hours of labor, 13.5 Lbs? Wow. You owe mom majorly.
Happy babyland to you and your wife. I thought it was bad when my precious driver parked in the HOSPITAL PARKING LOT, he was afraid we might hog the emergency space from somebody. Every 5 or 6 steps I would get a labor pain so we'd stop to do the he,he, breathing and I'd say a couple of indistinguishable words then continue on our way. I guess it wasn't so bad compared to your experience. Now the really hard part starts, but it's all worth it.
Congrats, ED!! Wow. Grog to ya, mate.
Sorry I missed this trhead earlier.
Hey thanks everyone, and thanks for puting the the pic up. We're home and trying to do the old "Get baby introduced to home and pets, and keep Grandma from making snide comments all while trying do do so on 3 hours sleep" Game.
But my li'l girl is a sweetie, even at 2 AM when she has a full mad on. You know, Its fun to suddenly have a new bestest friend. We're getting the hang of 24 hour living. I"ll do my best to stay tuned in the group, don't send an APB too soon.

Congratulations Ed...it's a great experience.
