I was watching tv and a trailer came up for some movie. At first, it looked like just some other "heartwarming" story about a man with a dream, but then that man went out to his barn, got into a rocketship, and flew away. I cant remember the last time a tv spot had me picking up my jaws after it was over.

And i thought after Snakes on a Plane we wouldnt be due for another modern b movie for a while.
It reminds me of that old Andy Griffith series Salvage 1, where he had a home made rocket and would salvage old satellites.

Meh, I actually don't think it is really a 'B' movie. Maybe the idea of it is, but it is just a dumb looking movie that won't be good. But the title and idea of it could be 'b' if someone actually did it a while ago or whatever. It has too much budget and special effects to be considered b anyways!

Shadowfyre, I remember that TV show. Saw 1 or 2 episodes and wanted to see more. Can't remember if the show continued for a whole season or what? Neat idea and this movie sounds interesting also.
I've seen the previews of this movie and I can't wait to see it. Maybe some of these UFO's we've seen are really made by someone we know. Come to think of it my next door neighbors also, only come out at night. I used to think they were vampires. :buggedout:

I remember that show, too. IIRC, it was on a season or so; it ran out of steam pretty fast when they were reaching for story ideas. if probably JTS about the time the feds had them going up on missions, like to rescue astronauts.
The pilot TV movie, just called "Salvage" was pretty entertaining. Interesting one-off movie idea, but did not really lend itself well to an entire series.
