I was just wondering,
Where are the B-Movie Maniacs???
I am in Johnstown, Co.
Where are you from???
John
I'm originally from Scranton, PA. Currently living in Susquehanna, PA. People loves their b-movies out here too! :teddyr:
You could just join the BadMovies cast & crew.
I am a proud African, born in what was then Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) in 1967 and I currently live in Pretoria, South Africa.
Warm South African greetings to all here. :teddyr:
I come from the wonderful and whimsical land of Finland, the land of thousand lakes, rapists and alcoholics. Not many people here enjoy bad movies as much as I do, but I've got few friends ( I am not lying here, folks, I have friends ) who love to see bad movies, the worse the better.
"I'm in your children, your churches, your schoolyards, your garbage dumps, your prisons-" OOps...I was channeling again...I live in the tiny swamp of Lawton, inthe p**shole that is southwest Michigan....where the bars and liquer stores outnumber the movie theatres 5 to zero.
I'm from Tennessee, but aside from that, well, MOMMY TOLD ME NOT TO TELL!!
Spokane, WA here. Indie/B-movie cinema is really starting to come into it's own around here, what with the release of Tiki and Hangman's Curse. Not to mention the fact that they filmed Home of the Brave here.
Sheffiled, UK
Ohio, USA. I have friends who have a mild interest in b-movies and some who don't. I've been debating on getting a weekly b-movie screening going on somewhere.
Minnesota, USA. Not really a whole lot of love for bad movies around here. I have one friend at work who enjoys them and we borrow DVD's to each other and have a great time discussing them, everybody else (wife included) just thinks I'm a bit odd.
Audubon Park, South Jersey. I've always had an interest in bad movies, but never really acknowledged it until college, when I joined the b-film society. I've been completely obsessed with ever since. :bouncegiggle:
Calgary, Alberta Canada here.. I know of a few of us up here that like em.. but mostly I have to watch them with my brother in law or by my lonesome, cause my wife immediately leaves when she figures out what type of movie is on the tv..
grrrr..
Queens, New York City.
I'm in California, about 15 miles from Los Angeles. I'm the wife of a Bad Movies fan, one of the ones who moans when the hubby puts on a bad movie, ha, more as a joke with us. I enjoy alot of the movies, I just like to bug him about them. We like to do things together so I'm trying to learn more on this forum. :teddyr:
I'm from the smallest of states, Rhode Island. Home of Peter Griffin, pollitical corruption, and mob ties.

Do you eat codfish 3 times a day, watch
This hour has 22 minutes every week while drinking lots and lots of
Black Horse beers?
:drink: :bouncegiggle: :teddyr:
No, no such stereotypes apply to yours truly. I defy expectation. I don't eat codfish, I don't drink at all although I have watched "This Hour Has 22 Minutes" (good political humor in that show but I actually like "The Royal Canadian Air Farce" better).
Salem, Oregon.
I'm from the great state of Cantucky (though you will find it commonly misspelled as Kentucky :teddyr:), home of such great Americans as *insert name here* :bluesad:.
Sydney, Australia
quetzaltenango, guatemala.

Hmm...you seem like a different person today Peter. (http://smileys.on-my-web.com/repository/Tongue/mockery-022.gif)
I was having trouble with the board earlier. I was signed in, but every time I tried to access the bad movies forum I got sent to a 'could not find server' error page. If I hit the back button, I could momemtarily see the forum before I got redirected again to the error page. I closed down my browser later, and started it again; when I got back on the forum, I didn't have the problem again, so I presume it was something, perhaps, to do with my browser.
Don't worry Peter, I'll vouch for you; everybody, it's Peter Crane....I mean Denny Johnson....aw heck, it's what's-his-name. :tongueout:
I have no idea what Peter Johnson means.
Hey guys...Andrew will look into the problem as soon as he gets in. I don't think that will be until 10 or 11 est.
Central Virginia, where for some reason, only cool people are allowed to like bad movies.
San Gabriel, California, however I was born in Buffalo New York, so I'm not one of the local looney tunes.

Sacramento, CA. My house is about 4 miles from the Governator's office.
I was born in and currently reside in Louisville, KY (I pronounce it loo-ee-vill, although there are a number of interpretations...). Um, Tod Browning was born here, so that's pretty cool.
Originally from Texas but living in the UK in a little village called Shepshed for the last 4 years.
Billerica, Massachusetts. About a 20 minute drive (unless you're in rush hour traffic) north of Boston.

I'm at the other end of the state near Paducah, KY
Sydney. Australia.
They make alot of bad movies here. But bad in the sense that you try your best not to have to watch them.
from northern New Jersey here... Not far from Morristown, where people still refer to the Revolution as "that late unpleasantness!"
Around these parts, only minimalist Lithuanian neo-formalism cinema enjoys less of an appreciation than Bad Movies. It's bleak, alright. Nathaniel Hawthorne bleak!

Melbourne, Australia. We have a film industry here too, supposedly...
But we do have many a den of awesome cinemas which play cult movies, so the B-Scene is alive and well down here!

I lived in Marlboro,NY many moons ago(1968).
I grew up in Guntersville, a little town in North Alabama (people from North Alabama always specify "North Alabama").
I lived in Charleston, SC and then South Florida for several years. Now I'm in a tiny, tiny, tiny town about 40 miles outside Nashville, TN.
I work in Nashville, so the commute gives me time to indulge in a couple of my other obsessions: obscure old film scores and old horror and sci-fi radio programs.
