Okay, in febuary I was at a horror convention, and I ended up stopping at a table for what appeared to be some type of special effects company. They had books for sale in which the covers had been decorated necronomicon-style, with gory faces on the front and back. I bought one, a blank sketchbook that I used as an autograph book (as opposed to shelling out $20.00 a pop for those photos they make you buy). Along with the autographs I got at the convention (and I should be getting more at the ones coming up) I want to get some of my b-film group friends to sign as well at our meeting. But, in addition to signing their names and whatever, I was thinking of getting each person to write down a different spell or incantation from a horror movie, since the book does look like a spellbook, it would be cool to have some spells in there. So, long story short, does anybody remember any cool spells to add? It can be from a horror or fantasy movie, it doesent matter which (please include what the spell is intended to do). :hot:
"Klatuu Bordo Nikto! 'From ARMY of Darkness! (Incidently, those words were first used by Micheal Rennie in The DAY the EARTH STOOD STILL).
"From the land beyond beyond
From the world past hope and fear
I bid you, Genie, now appear"
Causes Harufa the Genie to appear (natch) in The 7th Voyage of Sinbad.
You could add any of the three chants to summon The Invisible Swordsman from Three Amigos.

Let's not forget the Chant of Making from Excalibur: Anail Nathrock, Uthvass Bethudd, Dochiel Dienve.
Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice!
This is the spell used to summon Mr. Mom :bouncegiggle:
SHAZAM! To summon Captain Marvel,or "OH MIGHTY ISIS!" to turn into ISIS!
If you point at someone and say ZOTZ! they will die!
Saying Candyman or Bloody Mary three times leads to some nasty results.
Witches of Hecate, blacker than black, demons of shame, flesh on the rack, give to my boy the power to attack.
From The Magic Sword, a cheesy spell from a cheesy movie about St. George the Dragon Slayer, except in this movie he's a young man with an excess of hormones chasing his dream girl who has been kidnapped by an evil sorcerer.

Darkness beyond twilight, crimson beyond blood that flows... sorry, that's not a bad movie incantation. Ok, how about Hail, hail, fire and snow! Call the angel and we will go! Far away, far to see, friendly angel come to me? Ok, still not a bad movie incantation but I really think that line from Star Trek TOS (And The Children Shall Lead) should qualify.
ETA: It summons the Gorgan, a guy wearing a shower curtain with a bad transparency special effect who is probably the least threatening villain to ever appear on Star Trek.
You could put in that bass line that they use to raise the dead in "Hard Rock Zombies."
Probably the most famous incantation of all time.
"Double, double, toil, and trouble . . ."
And, yes, "Macbeth" is regarded as being a horror film.
And the spell is cast so Macbeth can see what his future will be.
One of us! One of us!
Gooble gobble, gooble gobble!
We accept her! We accept her!
One of us! One of us!
Turns a 'Peacock of the Air' into a 'Chicken Lady of the Pit'.
Guaranteed!
Lets see if I remember this.......
"Avey, dewey, dembollah, give me the power I beg of you....."
"Avey, dewey dembollah, give me the power I beg of you!"
"Awake!"
From the Child's Play Movies. I don't think that's the whole thing though.
I have thought of some here or there, but cannot always remember the exact words (except Barani's incantation). The chorus from "Troll" jumps to mind and I think I can quote that one right.
Weeble weeble wom.
Miggle duffle da far roarus. Middle daffle da fay ra!
(Trying to figure out what they are saying might drive a person completely mad.)
Thanks, guys, this is awesome. The book is gonna look cool.
If you really want to be daring you can also use the incantations from Eko Eko Azarak:
Eko Eko Azarak
Eko Eko Zomelak
Eko Eko Cernunnos
Eko Eko Aradia
Which, though it may sound silly, is actually based on a real Wiccan/neo-pagan spell chant.
Wonder Twin powers, Activate!

The Mothra song!
The words were in an issue of G-FAN. Hey, if it makes a big ass bug smash a city, i call it fair game!

might not be the right order but i think thats all you actually hear a far as the chant goes.
